Therapeutic Restorative Yoga, Breathwork, and Medical Astrology
With Jushin Misia Denéa
June 14, 2025
Location: Zoom
Mirror Memoirs member event.
Join us for a powerful community class centering rest, healing, and reconnection led by Jushin Misia Denéa (they/them), a certified QTIBIPOC Iyengar Yoga teacher. In this restorative therapeutic yoga session, we’ll move gently and intentionally through supported poses that invite the nervous system to unwind, helping release tension, trauma, and fatigue from the body. We will explore many savanna’s and end the session with a chakra balancing yoga nidra.
Through pranayama (yogic breathing techniques), we’ll learn how to anchor the mind, regulate emotions, and support heart, lung, and digestive health — especially important for those navigating anxiety, chronic illness, or long-term stress.
Guided meditation and visualization practices will support emotional clarity, grounding, and inner connection, all offered in a QTIBIPOC-affirming, survivor-centered container.
We’ll also explore how Medical Astrology offers a powerful mirror for your healing journey, helping you understand your body’s messages and tendencies through a cosmic lens.
Bring: a yoga mat or towel, pillows/blankets, water, and anything that supports your comfort
No prior yoga experience needed.✨
This space honors all bodies, all abilities, and all experiences
